Our Brewmaster

Capital Brewery was established with an important mission in mind. Wisconsin has a great heritage of being a lager beer-producing state. We wanted to carry on this tradition by producing beers with a strong German stylistic emphasis. We have succeeded.

Throughout the year, we produce 15 distinctively different styles of beer. We also explore new styles or variations on existing beers by producing the occasional “one-of-a-kind” beer. All of our beers exhibit flavorful personalities combined with great drinkability. We want your palate to be entertained by beers that reward you for choosing them. We take our stylistic claims very seriously. For example, if you choose to enjoy our Special Pilsner, you will find it exhibits the solid maltiness and pleasant dry bittering of its Bavarian counterparts.

We have also developed products unique to us. For example, our fall Limited Release variety, Autumnal Fire, combines Oktoberfest and doppelbock stylistically, producing a blazingly rich beer. It's intense yet satisfying, and very unique in its own right.

Capital Brewery is very proud to be a part of our state’s brewing heritage. We take our brewing responsibility seriously, and invite you to enjoy our family of beers. We believe beer to be a valuable adjunct to the enjoyment of life, one that exemplifies the phrase, “Leisure with dignity”.
