Limited Releases

Our limited release brews are Kirby's specialties. The Blonde Doppelbock and Autumnal Fire, available in the spring & fall respectively, are the 'cornerstones' of this series. The summer and winter selections have become a Kirby's options. You will see the labels & descriptions below, along with the season and year they're availble.

Blonde Doppelbock

A deep golden color leads one to an extremely flavorful, yet very drinkable beer of great character. Treat this malt monster with respect! Available starting in March.

Autumnal Fire

A blazing rich beer, this is a doppelbock based on an Oktoberfest personality. Warm and intriguing, the perfect "Brandy Snifter" beer. Available starting in September.

The Capital Square Series: 4-packs of Kirby's special selections for a very limited time.

	Vintage Ale Ale based on British style ale. Malt emphasized and somewhat sweet, with more hop bittering than Capital's Doppelbocks. Late November & December 2006 and 2007.
	Eisphyre An Ice-bock beer created for our 20 years of brewing celebration. May & June 2006
	Dark Doppelbock Loaded with a great depth malt complexity. Huge, and rich as can be, yet exhibiting a great smoothness on the palate. December '05 & January '06.
	Wild Rice Unique beer with nutty flavor from Wild Rice used in the brew. Surprisingly refreshing. May & June 2005
	Weizen Doppelbock An alluring example of the sweet, tantalizing flavors associated with a Bavarian style Wiezen that have been amplified to Doppelbock might. Fascinating! June & July 2004
