Where can I find Capital Brewery beers?
Our brews can be found in restaurants and retail establishments
in Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, and Minnesota. You can
also purchase any of our beers in person at our Gift
Haus.
Can you ship your beers?
No, we do not ship beer directly. However, if you choose to ship our
beer to someone, the Gift Haus has packaging available
for purchase.
When does the Bier Garten open?
The Bier Garten opens as soon as weather permits. The summer hours
listed below start the first weekend in May:
- Wednesday & Thursday: 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Friday: 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with music starting
at 6:00
- Saturday: 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
When do you have live music at the Bier Garten?
Starting the Friday night of Memorial Day weekend and ending the
Friday before Labor Day weekend, we will feature live music every Friday Night from 6-9pm.

Do you serve food at the Bier Garten?
You are welcome to
bring in your own food or have food delivered. We request that
you sit at the table with your food.
May we bring beverages into the Bier Garten?
Carry-in beverages, including soda, are not allowed in the Bier Garten.
The only exception
to this is juice or milk for your children.
Do you have nutritional information about your beers?
We are gathering this information right now, and will be posting it
on the site as soon as it is available.
Do you sell equipment or supplies for homebrewers?
No. However, if you are a homebrewer, we suggest you visit the Wine
and Hop Shop (1931 Monroe Street, Madison, WI 53711; phone: (608)
257-0099).
Can I take a tour of the brewery?
Yes! We offer tours each Friday at 3:30 pm and each Saturday at 1:30
and 3:30 p.m. For more information and a sneak preview of what

Can I rent your facility for a private party?
Yes. Individuals and organizations often rent the Bier Stube, Bier
Garten, or both, for parties, meetings, and other functions. For

How do I get tickets for the Great Taste of the Midwest?
Tickets are available
starting May 1st. Just stop by the brewery with a cash
or check made out to Madison Homebrewers and Tasting Guild. For
more information, you may also their
website at www.mhtg.org. We are not
able to reserve tickets.
